For the last three editions of Afro Nation Portugal (2024, 2025 and 2026), I’ve led staff logistics and welfare operations for 500+ personnel, managing a €1.2m+ budget and coordinating the complex travel, accommodation, transport and catering requirements of a large-scale international music festival.

My role has involved overseeing accommodation allocations across multiple hotel properties, coordinating international flights and ground transfers, creating and distributing personalised itineraries, and acting as a central point of contact for staff and VIPs. I’ve also led supplier relationships with destination management companies, hotels and transfer providers, managing commercial negotiations, resolving operational challenges and adapting plans to changing production requirements.

Across successive editions, I’ve helped bring structure and consistency to a complex, fast-moving operation, balancing the needs of hundreds of people, multiple suppliers and tight production schedules while ensuring staff and VIPs have the information, support and logistics in place to deliver the festival successfully.
