In late 2020, I launched Dolce Butter – a sweet butter brand available in flavours Honey, Ginger Honey, Vanilla and Lemon.

I was always quite surprised that honey butter wasn’t a product I could buy when I popped into my local Asda and so I started making some for my own consumption.

When friends started asking to try some, I started to look at the opportunity differently. After getting feedback from different people, I decided that it was good enough to make it available to buy online.

This is currently a one woman band which has seen me make the logo, do the branding, build the website, develop our food management procedures in accordance with HACCP, manage comms, manage shipping, and of course, churn the butter!

Truth be told, I’m new to the food industry business, and have already learnt so much with no doubt much more to go.
