I’ve worked with Masego since 2015, with our relationship evolving from early creative and communications support into a strategic advisory role focused on his business interests and ventures beyond music.
Between 2020 – 2024, I worked directly with him as a trusted thought partner, helping translate creative ambition and entrepreneurial ideas into clear strategies, commercially considered opportunities and actionable plans.
Much of my work has involved bringing structure to ambiguity: synthesising fragmented ideas, conversations and emerging opportunities into coherent business propositions, identifying gaps and challenging assumptions to sharpen strategic thinking. I’ve also supported discussions with prospective partners, asking critical questions, evaluating opportunities and helping ensure that decisions align with his broader ambitions.
My work has spanned several areas:
- Real Estate & Portfolio Strategy: Supported strategic thinking around his property interests, helping clarify investment objectives, research and explore opportunities and develop a more considered approach to portfolio development.
- Business Development & Investment Readiness: Translated early-stage business concepts into structured investment materials, including strategic one-pagers, presentations and supporting documentation designed to articulate propositions and facilitate discussions with potential partners and investors.
- Emerging Technology & Community Strategy: Explored opportunities within Web3, considering how emerging technologies could support world-building, community engagement and new forms of interaction between artists and their audiences.
- Philanthropy & Organisational Development: Served as a Director of his charitable organisation, supporting its establishment, defining its purpose and strategic direction, and working with partners to lay the operational foundations for future initiatives.
- Editorial & Creative Direction: Led the design and editorial development of a commemorative magazine celebrating Masego’s debut album ‘Lady Lady’, taking ownership of the visual identity, layout and print-ready artwork. Curated interviews from various media outlets, selecting and organising content to create a cohesive editorial narrative that reflected the story we wanted to tell.
Across these areas, my contribution has been to bridge the gap between vision and execution, combining strategic thinking, commercial curiosity and operational judgement to help turn ideas into credible opportunities.
