Litestructures were commissioned by the V&A to structurally design, manufacture and install the UK’s entry to the first London Design Biennale in 2016. Standing at 13m tall, ‘Forecast’ was designed by Barber & Osgerby and was funded by British Land.
I took the project from sales sign off through to completion and led contract re-negotiations midway through the project. I managed the procurement of key, but complex components including custom ball bearings and scenic finishings.
I worked closely with our in-house engineers Mott MacDonald, and the client’s elected engineers Arup to ensure the safety of the structure and its overall longevity.
