When developing Visualise in Motion I wanted to make sure that I was actually building something my audience wanted and was also meeting their immediate needs.
This meant finding out what methods they used to learn skills outside of formal settings like work and education, what their main sources of information were, what their preferred ways of learning are, what topics they were most interested in learning about, and how much they would pay for events and courses.
I spent months designing this research project, ensuring that every question was relevant and fulfilled a purpose, but also gave us as much insight to the needs of our audience as possible.
We had over over 80 respondents take the survey. The data we received has helped us understand the needs of our audience, has given us options for different project delivery strategies we can test out, and has helped us design our future programmes with better insights.
